Xiaomi will hold a spring new product launch conference on March 29th. But the question is, is that Mi Band 6 on Lei Jun’s hand? Mi Band 6 will feature a pulse oximeter and a GPS receiver for the first time.
There is a MI Band 6 (XMSH15HM) Live image by the EU Declaration of Conformity document on Mi Global. The image is from the side of the band and it reveals that not much will be changed in terms of design. The image looks almost the same Design as MI Band 5.
The Mi Band 6 is said to outshine all of its predecessors with the newly expanded functionalities. The successor is expected to have a higher screen resolution and better graphics. For the price, it could also have the same price tag as the previous Mi Band 5.
It is said that the fitness tracker will feature a pulse oximeter and a GPS receiver for the first time. Furthermore, there would also be an NFC version and about 30 training modes support alongside integration with WhatsApp and Telegram. At the event, products like the rest of the Xiaomi Mi 11 devices and Mi Notebook Pro 2021 are expected to be launched as well.
The Mi Band 6/Mi Smart Band 6 first appeared on the internet where its existence got leaked on the Zepp app code. This report said that it will have support for Blood Oxygen monitoring(SpO2 sensor), and come with Alexa assistant built-in.
Some other rumours on the specs of the Mi Smart Band 6 include NFC, and non-NFC variants for different markets, built-in GPS, Heart rate Monitoring(PPG), Sleep tracking, 30 activity tracking modes including Zumba, cricket, basketball, and kickboxing.
